Her sire Wylie Hall, first past the post in the 2014 G1 Vodacom Durban July, was a superb athlete whose victories included all of the 2015 G1 President’s Champions Challenge, 2013 G1 SA Derby, G2 Colorado King Stakes and Listed Derby Trial. In total, Wylie Hall earned over R3.6 million in stakes, with his beaten rivals including such Equus Champions as Futura, Cherry On The Top, Capetown Noir, Majmu and In The Fast Lane.
This exciting young stallion is one of more than 30x G1 winners sired by Australian triple champion sire Redoute’s Choice –whose progeny include current Australian star The Autumn Sun and South African rising star Buffalo Bill Cody.
Also sire of Equus Champions Majmu, Musir and Mustaaqeem, Redoute’s Choice has also enjoyed plenty of success as a sire of sires, with his notable stallion sons including multiple champion sire Snitzel and the highly successful stallions Not A Single Doubt and Stratum.
From the same family as current multiple G1 winner Melody Belle (also sired by a son of Danehill), Wylie Hall is one of nine winners produced by his five time winning dam Beauty Belle, whose other notable performers G1 Hong Kong Sprint winner Absolute Champion and the winning dam of Listed Gothic Stakes winner Peacock.
The son of Redoute’s Choice has five lots on offer at January’s Cape Premier Yearling Sale including a colt out of nine time winner Miss K (Lot 114), a filly out of G3 Flamboyant Stakes winner Queen’s Command (who is sired by Melody Belle’s sire Commands), and a half-sister to stakes winner Pegwell Bay (Lot 191).
